Summer is almost here and consumer magazines are putting out cover headlines already showing you what you need to do to get that flat tummy just in time for the beach. I mean you can’t miss them. They’re there right on the cover with catch phrases to whet your interest. But what sounds easy is usually not. It takes a bit of work to get a flat tummy. Well if you never tried it or never heard of it you may want to do a little research. It’s called Pilates. A Pilates mat class will get the stomach muscles and lower back in shape fast. And it does it the right way. Of course if you attend Pilates mat classes and go out and consume a heavy dose of fat calories when you are sort of defeating the purpose in the first place.

Take a Pilates class three times a week and you might go looking for a bikini this season. And Pilates is not limited to women. Men too can look good this summer with Pilates workouts. If you can’t make it to a class check out some instructional DVDs. Get a hold of a comfortable Pilates mat and stay diligent to the exercises. Watch your caloric intake. Do your cardio and this summer it’ll feel good walking along the beach.
