I was working in a nationalized bank some time ago. The job was very close to my heart and the bank recruited new employees only after a three-hour written entrance test followed by an interview, conducted by four panelists. My job as personal assistant to the top executive of the bank expected me to do only desk work, but I always loved to do beyond what was expected of me. When at work I always watch people wearing sunglasses for safety reasons.
There was once a deposit mobilization drive and all the staff members were asked to contribute their time and might in collecting as much deposit as possible for the bank. I had a vast circle of friends and I knew I could depend on them to keep their money in the bank. I would start some time in the morning on this venture and come home only by evening. It used to be quite hot in the afternoons and managing without wholesale sunglasses was difficult, and I complained about this to my husband. The next day, when I returned home, I saw a pair of designer sunglasses on my table. My ever thoughtful husband had already got them for me, considering my hectic work schedule outside office!
